Though turning to friends, family members, or a signiﬁcant other for support can be beneﬁcial, at some point you may ﬁnd that you need help from a trained professional to deal with feelings and problems that seem beyond your control.
Individual counseling provides a safe, open, supportive, and conﬁdential environment for you to address the issues that are concerning you. I will guide you in describing the problems you are struggling with, listening carefully and objectively to understand the obstacles, some of which you may not even be aware of, that prevent you from improving your sense of well-being and accomplishing your goals. Then I can help you to see new alternatives to your problems, and work with you to develop skills and strategies to overcome them.
